Butte Public Library invites the community to a free workshop focused on simple, practical ways to protect mobile devices, personal information, and online accounts.
The workshop will explore how cloud services work, the risks of weak or reused passwords, and why seemingly harmless information shared online can sometimes reveal more than we realize. Participants will also learn practical habits for protecting their privacy and making their phones and online accounts more secure.
No advanced technical knowledge is required. The workshop is designed for everyday technology users who want to better understand their digital security and learn simple steps they can put into practice right away.
The workshop will take place on September 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Frank Little Room, 3rd Floor, at Butte Public Library, 226 W Broadway St., Butte.
